My name is Buffy Rone and I am proud to be a KHS Whippet! I am from Ethel, and received my B.S. Degree in Secondary Education/Biology and general sciences. I have continued my education through various trainings including bioinformatics at Jackson State University and forensic science through Southern Miss. This will be my fourth year as a Whippet. I have 20 years of teaching experience.

I am truly passionate about science education. I enjoy working with young people as they transition to the next stage of life. I strive to an create an environment that nurtures educational growth and a desire for life-long learning.

Personally, I have been for 21 years and have three great children who are 20, 17, and 11 years old. We are active at Ethel Baptist Church and enjoy watching our children participate in many sporting events. I also enjoy cooking, relaxing, reading and spending time with my toy poodle, Binni Jo.
