Hello, Everyone!
My name is Cassandra Newsom, I live in Sallis, MS. I have a Bachelor's degree in History from William Carey University, in Hattiesburg, MS. I also have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University, in Jonesboro, AR. I have been teaching for 20 years. I currently work at KHS where I teach US History, AP US History, American Democracy, and Advanced World Geography. I have been married for 21 years to my husband who is a veteran. I also have one son who is currently a student at Mississippi State University. I enjoy reading, traveling and almost anything dealing with nature. I look forward to working with each of you this school year.
