My name is Jamie Meggs. I was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Shortly after I turned one year old we moved to Kosciusko, MS. I attended a small private school K-12 and played basketball and ran track.

After high school I attended Holmes Community College where I played basketball and competed on the college’s very first softball team. I received my bachelor’s degree. I attended Mississippi State University for 2 years and received my B.S. in Elementary Education. Several years later I attended the University of MS and received a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

Since then I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and I am currently working as an instructional specialist/coach during my 23 year career here at Kosciusko schools. I have been married to my husband, Jeff, for 24 years. We have two children, Jerod 22 and Josie 19. We enjoy following our children’s college baseball and softball careers. I truly love my occupation! My mission is to inspire positive change through teaching and instructional coaching. I truly hope to have a positive impact on every person I meet. Through my faith, I strive to live a life of honesty, integrity, and unconditional love.
