Dr. Bost is a family-oriented person with a deep passion for motivating and inspiring learning communities. Dr. Bost is married to Katie (Kosciusko graduate) and together they have a son named Micah, who begins 4th grade at KUE. 

Dr. Bost received a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University (Hail State). He went on to earn a Master’s degree from Arkansas State University in Educational Leadership. Lastly, Dr. Bost earned both his Specialists and Doctorate degrees from William Carey University majoring in Instructional and Educational Leadership.

Dr. Bost began his career as a science teacher and coach. It was during this first stop that he was awarded teacher of the year and served as science department chair, PLC leader, district professional development facilitator, and finally an administrator.

Next Dr. Bost moved to George County as an assistant principal before being promoted to principal. During that time period, George County schools’ received several statewide and national recognitions and in 2019 he became MAE Mississippi Principal of the Year.

Dr. Bost then became the principal at Petal High School. While working in his capacity as the principal, PHS was rated an “A” ranked school, a national blue ribbon high school, and worked with counselors to raise more scholarship dollars than any other time period in the Petal Schools.
